PTS Labourer (Rail) Saturday Nights - Merseyside - £19.44 Your new company is an infrastructure contractor that has been awarded a contract to refurbish the station platforms and station buildings on a 6 month program every Saturday night at Lea Green & Newton-Le-Willows Platform St Helens in Merseyside.Your new role is to work on an agency assignment to be responsible for ensuring that vehicles, materials, tools and plant equipment under your control are fit for use and are deployed, used and stored correctly and any defects are reported immediately to H&S and / or your manager. As a PTS Labourer you will always work in a safe manner always following appropriate procedures and instructions to ensure the Saturday night possession is successful. What you'll need to succeed is a PTS card, necessary competencies to perform your role, previous experience of working on the rail network, in date medical & A&D test. You will need orange hi viz jacket, orange trousers, hard hat, gloves & safety glasses. Teamwork is key in delivering our works effectively, therefore when you aren't required to use your daily skills / trades on the job, you will be expected to undertake other reasonable duties to ensure collaboration in meeting deadlines. What you'll get in return is a temporary assignment paying £19.44 x 8 hours per night on a regular Saturday night subject to program.
